The Chargers hold a modest edge in the season series market due to their stronger projected roster, led by Justin Herbert and offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel, which positions them as the more complete AFC West contender entering 2026. However, the tight spread between a Chargers series win and a split reflects the volatility of two divisional contests, where home-field swings, injury timing, and typical NFL variance often produce one upset or close result apiece. The Raiders, in a clear rebuild phase with rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza and a lower win projection, retain slim upset potential in either matchup but face significant barriers to claiming the series outright. Trader pricing captures this balance between overall team strength and the league's week-to-week unpredictability.
