Incumbent Nasir Idris of the APC holds a commanding position in the Kebbi 2027 gubernatorial race, driven by his record on infrastructure projects, cross-party endorsements including from PDP factions, and alignment with federal priorities under President Tinubu. APC stakeholders have rallied behind his re-election bid, with recent actions such as selecting a new running mate and creating new administrative districts reinforcing party cohesion. Abubakar Malami's ADC candidacy represents the primary opposition challenge, amid reported exchanges over governance and security, yet trader pricing reflects limited momentum for alternatives. The February 2027 vote remains the resolution trigger, with incumbency advantages and primary consolidation shaping the current consensus.
