This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Recent forecasts from multiple models converge on a maximum of 34–35°C for Kuala Lumpur on September 6, driven by typical early-September tropical conditions with partly cloudy skies, light southerly winds, and moderate humidity that permit strong daytime heating without excessive cloud cover or rain suppression. Historical September mean daily maxima near 32.7°C provide baseline context, while current runs show slight positive anomalies consistent with the market’s 60.5% implied probability for 34°C and 21.5% for 35°C. Key variables include afternoon cloud development and any localized showers that could cap the peak; updated National Meteorological Department guidance and hourly model revisions expected overnight will refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
