Forecast models from the National Weather Service and supporting agencies indicate a high near 69–70°F for Seattle on September 5, 2026, under partly sunny skies with light northerly winds and a modest chance of afternoon showers. This consensus drives the tight market split between 68–69°F and 70–71°F outcomes, as modest differences in cloud cover, timing of any showers, or localized heating near Sea-Tac versus downtown stations can shift the daily maximum by 1–2°F. Early September climatology shows an average high of 73°F, yet recent days have trended cooler amid variable marine influence, keeping probabilities balanced while traders await final observational data for resolution.
