This market will resolve in favor of the player that finishes Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the most Total QBR (ESPN's Total Quarterback Rating) among qualified players. To qualify, a player must meet ESPN's minimum threshold for Total QBR leaderboard eligibility. Only games designated by the NFL as Week 1 of the 2026-27 regular season count. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with more qualifying dropbacks in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with a higher traditional passer rating in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened or truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available Total QBR data for completed games. If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in Total QBR among qualified players within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from ESPN; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. With numerous quarterbacks clustered between 23% and 26% implied probability, the market reflects the inherent unpredictability of a single NFL game determining Week 1 QBR leadership. Factors such as offensive line protection, receiver separation, defensive schemes, and weather can swing individual passer ratings dramatically, while preseason form and training camp reports offer limited predictive value for opening-week results. No established frontrunner emerges because historical week-one variance favors a broad field of starters across favorable or neutral matchups, keeping the race wide open until actual snaps are played.
