Recent polling trends show AfD support in Berlin fluctuating near 17-20 percent ahead of the September 20, 2026, state election, producing seat projections clustered around 26-34 depending on turnout and the performance of CDU, Linke, Greens, and SPD. National AfD gains and results from concurrent eastern state votes in Saxony-Anhalt and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern continue to influence trader views on momentum, while Berlin's urban voter base and potential coalition dynamics introduce uncertainty. The close spread between 29-31, 32-34, and 35+ outcomes reflects this balance, with separation likely from final-week surveys, differential turnout in key districts, or shifts in second preferences among other parties.
