Recent polls place Die Linke at 20-22 percent ahead of the September 20, 2026, Abgeordnetenhaus election, projecting roughly 29-33 seats under proportional allocation with the five-percent threshold. This surge from 12 percent in 2023 stems from gains among urban voters on housing and social policy, narrowing the field among five parties above 10 percent and elevating 30-34, 35-39, and 40+ seat brackets to leading market outcomes. Lower ranges remain marginal as consistent summer surveys from Forsa, Civey, and Infratest dimap show limited downside risk, while late-campaign volatility or turnout shifts could still adjust final mandates within the contested 30-40 range.
