Recent polls ahead of the September 20 Berlin Abgeordnetenhaus election show a fragmented race with Linke leading at 19–22 percent, followed closely by CDU and AfD near 18 percent, Grüne around 16 percent, and SPD at 12 percent. The Grüne’s positioning for fourth place reflects consistent mid-tier support amid volatility, including the CDU’s mid-campaign switch to candidate Stefan Evers after Kai Wegner’s withdrawal. Voter priorities on housing, security, and transport, combined with uncertain coalition math and the five-percent threshold dynamics, keep the order for lower placements fluid. Late shifts in turnout or minor-party consolidation could alter fourth-place probabilities before election night.
