This market will resolve according to the winner of the Republican Primary for United States Senator from Florida. If no 2026 Florida Republican Senate Primary takes place, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be the first announcement of the results from the Florida Republican party, however an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may suffice.Ashley Moody secured the Republican nomination in Florida’s August 18 special Senate primary with roughly 80 percent of the vote, reflecting her status as the DeSantis-appointed incumbent filling Marco Rubio’s vacated seat. Trump’s endorsement, combined with endorsements from Sen. Rick Scott and major law enforcement groups, broad party establishment support, and a substantial fundraising edge exceeding $11 million raised, deterred serious challengers and produced a lopsided result over lesser-known candidates. The outcome aligns with the market’s 100 percent consensus on Moody. Remaining uncertainty centers on formal certification, any procedural challenges to ballot counting, or unforeseen post-primary developments that could theoretically reopen the contest before resolution.
