Persistent rain and extensive cloud cover forecast for Taipei on September 6 are the main drivers keeping minimum temperatures from dropping sharply overnight. High humidity, light to moderate northerly winds, and reduced radiative cooling under overcast skies limit the typical nocturnal temperature decline, with official and ensemble model guidance converging on lows near 24–26 °C. These conditions align with the closely matched market-implied probabilities for 24 °C through 27 °C, while lower outcomes would require clearer skies or stronger cold-air advection not currently indicated. Updated model runs and Central Weather Administration briefings ahead of the overnight period will provide the next key data points for resolution.
