United Russia maintains a commanding position in the Mordovia State Assembly election scheduled for September 18–20, 2026, reflecting its consistent dominance in the republic’s mixed electoral system of party-list proportional representation and single-mandate districts. The party secured 42 of 48 seats in 2021 and 45 in 2016, with candidates registered across all 24 single-member constituencies for the upcoming vote. Incumbent regional head Artyom Zdunov’s alignment with the party reinforces institutional continuity amid concurrent federal and regional contests. Trader consensus prices other parties, including CPRF, LDPR, A Just Russia, and New People, near zero due to structural barriers and limited competitive space. Late developments capable of altering outcomes remain narrow, such as unforeseen registration issues or turnout anomalies, though historical patterns indicate low probability.
