This market will resolve to the candidate that occupies the highest finishing position after applying this ranking. If the Greenville County results of this election are not definitively known by December 31, 2026, this market will resolve to “Other.” This market will resolve based on a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the government of South Carolina, including the Election Commission and the government of Greenville County.Ralph Norman’s commanding 97.7% implied probability of carrying Greenville County in the August 25 South Carolina Republican Senate special primary runoff reflects his decisive primary performance there, where he secured a 17-point margin over Darline Graham Nordone amid strong Upstate conservative support tied to his House Freedom Caucus record and local roots. Greenville, the state’s most populous county, contributed heavily to Norman’s second-place statewide finish behind the incumbent, who benefited from name recognition and President Trump’s endorsement but trailed significantly in the region. A recent runoff debate offered limited opportunity to shift these entrenched county-level preferences ahead of early voting. While Graham could narrow the gap through higher turnout or additional endorsements, historical patterns in similar low-turnout special runoffs suggest substantial barriers to overcoming Norman’s established edge in this key Upstate battleground.
