Recent monthly inflation prints near 2.1% in July, with the year-over-year rate at 33.8%, sustain trader focus on disinflation momentum under ongoing fiscal tightening and exchange-rate policy. Analyst medians cluster around 29.8% for full-year 2026, placing the two leading buckets in near parity and reflecting uncertainty over whether inertia or further monthly moderation will prevail. Key swing factors include upcoming INDEC releases, reserve accumulation, and any shifts in monetary guidance that could alter the implied path versus historical base rates. Market-implied odds aggregate real-capital bets on these variables without guaranteeing outcomes.
