Trump's Gold Card program, launched via executive order to grant expedited EB-1 or EB-2 visas in exchange for a $1 million contribution plus fees, has seen minimal uptake through mid-2026. Only one approval and a few hundred applications have materialized despite early administration projections of tens of thousands sold, amid reported delays, legal challenges over processing timelines, and limited interest from high-net-worth applicants. These implementation hurdles and slower-than-expected demand explain the heavy trader consensus around the lowest volume bracket for full-year 2026 sales. Upcoming policy adjustments or court rulings could still alter the trajectory before year-end.
