This market will resolve to the next individual who officially assumes the office of Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina by July 31, 2028, 11:59 PM ET. To count for resolution, the individual must be formally appointed by the House of Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Any interim or caretaker Prime Minister will not count toward the resolution of this market. If no such Chairman of the Council of Ministers takes office by July 31, 2028, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The upcoming October 2026 general elections and ensuing multi-ethnic coalition negotiations primarily shape trader pricing for the next Chairman of the Council of Ministers. Bosnia and Herzegovina’s consociational system requires the three-member Presidency to nominate a candidate who secures House of Representatives confirmation through agreement among Bosniak, Croat, and Serb party blocs, respecting entity and ethnic rotation norms. The incumbent Krišto cabinet rests on an SNSD–HDZ BiH–Troika arrangement formed after 2022; shifts in parliamentary seats could realign support toward SDP, NiP, or other groupings. No candidate commands a decisive edge because final selection hinges on post-election arithmetic, veto-player dynamics, and last-minute compromises rather than pre-poll positioning alone. Traders therefore spread probabilities across multiple names, with developments such as primary results, alliance signals, or High Representative interventions most likely to create separation before resolution.
