The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the government of Sweden and Region Jönköping County; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Rachel De Basso (Social Democrats) holds the leading trader consensus at 76.5% for the next Regional Executive Board chair of Region Jönköpings län, reflecting her incumbency and the current coalition’s 44-seat majority in the 81-member regional assembly. The September 13, 2026, election will determine the next term, with the existing S-M-BA alliance emphasizing stability in healthcare delivery, reduced care queues, and economic results such as positive 2025 budget outcomes and lower reliance on temporary staffing. Opposition figures including Kerstin Hammar (Moderates), Mia Frisk (Christian Democrats), and others from parties like the Sweden Democrats and Liberals register lower implied probabilities, consistent with their current roles in opposition or deputy positions and the absence of recent polling or coalition shifts that would alter the balance. The market prices align with the coalition’s established control and De Basso’s visibility in regional and national roles ahead of the vote.
