Flávio Bolsonaro holds the strongest market position for first place in Goiás’s October 4 first-round presidential vote, reflecting trader assessment of his consolidation of conservative support in the state’s agribusiness-heavy electorate. His Liberal Party (PL) launched majoritarian candidacies there in June, and national polling shows him closing gaps with Lula while inheriting Bolsonarista infrastructure. Ronaldo Caiado, the former governor who resigned in March to run nationally, retains notable local recognition but trails in implied market probability amid a fragmented right. Lula registers minimal odds, consistent with Goiás’s right-leaning profile. With official campaigning underway since mid-August and free airtime beginning soon, traders appear focused on whether Flávio can unify anti-Lula votes before the ballot.
