This market will resolve according to the winner of the Democratic Primary for United States Senator from Florida. If no 2026 Florida Democratic Senate Primary takes place, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be the first announcement of the results from the Florida Democratic party, however an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may suffice.State Rep. Angie Nixon secured the Democratic nomination for Florida’s U.S. Senate seat in the August 18, 2026 primary, defeating former national security official Alexander Vindman by roughly 12 points. Her victory stemmed from a grassroots effort emphasizing affordability measures such as expanded healthcare access, housing costs, and higher minimum wages, which resonated in urban counties and among younger and Black voters despite raising under $1 million compared to Vindman’s more than $16 million. Nixon drew endorsements from progressive figures and built support through union organizing and local visibility, while other listed candidates remained marginal. With results certified and no active legal challenges reported, trader consensus reflects the completed primary outcome; a reversal would require an unprecedented recount or court intervention altering the certified tally.
