Recent opinion polls ahead of Israel's October 27, 2026, Knesset election show Likud projected between roughly 20-26 seats, reflecting a tight contest with Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party and persistent shortfalls for Netanyahu's current coalition bloc below the 61-seat majority threshold. Likud's August 17 primaries produced a slate emphasizing loyalists and relative moderates, yielding mixed post-primary poll shifts with some surveys noting modest gains and others continued erosion tied to Haredi draft disputes and broader security concerns. Yashar and center-right challengers like Naftali Bennett's Together maintain competitive pressure, while bloc negotiations and turnout dynamics among right-wing and ultra-Orthodox voters remain key variables that could shift final seat totals within the 20-29 range favored by trader consensus.
