Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate overnight lows in the mid-70s for Los Angeles on September 9, driven by a warm air mass, clear to partly cloudy skies, and limited marine-layer cooling under southwest flow. This positions the 74-75°F and 76-77°F bins as leading outcomes with implied probabilities around 30% and 27%, respectively, while the 82°F-or-higher market at 47% reflects uncertainty over whether nocturnal temperatures will hold above typical early-September values near 64°F. Historical climatology shows greater cooling potential, but current conditions favor elevated minima. Updated NWS point forecasts and evening model runs will refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
