Recent National Weather Service and private model consensus points to a 76°F high in Seattle on September 9 driven by northerly flow under building high pressure, reduced cloud cover, and light winds that favor daytime solar heating without significant marine influence. Early September observations show daily maxima climbing from the upper 60s to mid-70s amid clearing conditions after initial drizzle, aligning with climatological norms near 72°F for the date while remaining well below historical September peaks. Traders appear to weight the central 76–79°F bins most heavily because ensemble guidance shows limited spread around this range, with only modest upside risk from any unexpected ridging. The primary resolution threshold remains the official Seattle-Tacoma International Airport maximum, subject to final NWS verification.
