Trader consensus clusters on the 58–61°F range for San Francisco’s September 8 low, reflecting National Weather Service forecasts of 58°F and supporting model guidance near 59°F amid typical early-September marine-layer conditions. Persistent onshore flow and stratus development overnight moderate radiative cooling, while recent daily lows of 56–61°F establish a climatological baseline without strong high-pressure ridging to drive sharper drops. Key variables include marine-layer depth, wind speed, and any last-minute shifts in the 500-hPa pattern that could alter cloud cover before the 24-hour observation window closes. Updated NWS guidance and short-range model runs remain the primary near-term catalysts.
