PAN leads trader consensus for second place in Mexico's June 2027 Chamber of Deputies election due to consistent positioning as the primary opposition force in recent national polling, where it trails Morena but outpaces PRI, MC, and smaller parties by wide margins. The party's decision to contest the midterms independently after ending its alliance with the PRI has consolidated its voter base among conservative and northern strongholds, while opposition fragmentation and the emergence of new parties like PAZ and Somos MX further dilute competing claims. Morena's coalition maintains a commanding lead overall but faces modest internal strains over legislative priorities. Recent polls through mid-2026 show PAN holding steady in the 12-20% range nationally, supporting its favored status for the runner-up slot absent major shifts in turnout or coalition dynamics.
