**Recent Swedish opinion polls ahead of the September 13, 2026, parliamentary election show Vänsterpartiet (V) holding a modest but consistent edge over Kristdemokraterna (KD) in projected vote share.** Aggregators and individual surveys from August place V in the 7–8% range while KD sits around 5–7%, producing an implied probability that V will finish ahead on election night. This positioning aligns with broader trends in which the centre-left opposition maintains an overall lead, though the right-wing governing bloc (Moderates, KD, Liberals, supported by the Sweden Democrats) has narrowed the gap slightly in some late readings. V’s support has remained relatively stable or edged higher in recent months, while KD has faced pressure as a junior coalition partner amid voter dissatisfaction with the incumbent government’s performance. Historical patterns in Swedish multi-party elections show smaller parties’ final rankings often track late polling averages closely, with limited volatility in the final weeks absent major events. Traders appear to weigh these polling dynamics and the short remaining timeline when pricing the outcome at roughly 74% for V receiving more votes.
