Recent Swedish polls ahead of the September 13 parliamentary election show Vänsterpartiet and Miljöpartiet in a tight race, with support clustered near 7–8 percent for each and only marginal differences across major surveys. MP has recorded modest gains in recent aggregates, aided by emphasis on climate policy and joint campaigning with the Centre Party, while V maintains steady backing amid broader left-bloc momentum but faces occasional internal criticism over foreign policy positions. The competitive balance stems from overlapping voter bases on progressive issues and the 4 percent electoral threshold, leaving both parties sensitive to turnout and late shifts. Final-week developments such as candidate debates, climate-focused mobilization, or any party-specific controversies could determine which receives more votes.
