**Forecast consensus from official and numerical models points to a minimum temperature in the mid-50s Fahrenheit for Seattle on September 8, 2026, aligning with the market’s heaviest weighting on the 54-55°F bin (39%) followed by 52-53°F and 56-57°F.** Clear skies and light northerly winds are expected overnight into Tuesday after Monday’s onshore flow and drizzle, promoting radiational cooling under weak high pressure. This setup typically yields lows near or slightly below the 1991–2020 climatological average of 54.4°F for the date. Recent NWS observations show September 2026 lows fluctuating between 52–58°F, with the pattern of mild early-September nights continuing. Model guidance (including NWS and supporting ensembles) shows limited spread around 54–56°F, with minimal risk of stronger cooling or warmer advection that would shift probabilities toward the tails. The market’s concentration in the central bins reflects this narrow forecast envelope and the absence of disruptive synoptic changes through the resolution window.
