The Odyssey leads trader consensus at 40.5% implied probability thanks to its recent theatrical release, strong box-office performance, and Ludwig Göransson’s widely praised score, which builds on his recent 2026 Oscar win for Sinners and prior successes with Nolan projects. With most 2026 contenders still unreleased or in early buzz stages, the field remains fragmented, as seen in Dune: Part Three’s 11% behind Hans Zimmer’s anticipated return and single-digit odds for titles like Project Hail Mary and The Black Ball. Key upcoming catalysts include December releases, guild screenings, and critics’ awards that typically shape original-score momentum ahead of the 2027 ceremony.
