Lindsey Graham’s sister, her appointment as interim senator, and President Trump’s endorsement. Norman concentrated support in the Upstate counties and his 5th District base but trailed significantly in the Lowcountry. A late-July runoff poll showed Graham ahead statewide, while heavy pro-Graham advertising and endorsements from figures like Rep. Russell Fry have reinforced her position ahead of early voting and the final debate. Norman’s path depends on consolidating conservative primary voters who backed other candidates, yet Charleston’s prior results and Graham’s broader geographic strength keep trader consensus tilted toward her county win.
