Recent opinion polls in August 2026 place Kristdemokraterna (KD) support between 6.2% and 7.5%, with averages such as the Fred Cornell tracker at 6.7% and Novus at 6.3% reflecting modest gains over the prior month. As a Tidö cabinet partner with the Moderates and Liberals, KD has benefited from centre-right bloc consolidation ahead of the 13 September parliamentary election. Earlier 2026 surveys showed lower readings near the 4% threshold, but stabilization above 6% in multiple recent releases from Demoskop, Verian, and PolitPro has supported trader pricing of the Over outcome near 60%. Volatility among smaller parties and limited remaining campaign time remain key variables that could still influence the final result.
