Recent polls ahead of Sweden’s September 13 parliamentary election place Vänsterpartiet support between 7% and 8.5%, including 8.1% in the latest Verian survey for SVT and 7.2% in weighted averages. The party has recorded modest gains since 2022, particularly among younger voters concerned with welfare and social policy, while drawing from the broader left bloc that currently leads the right-wing Tidö government by roughly ten points. With V hovering near the 7% threshold in several measurements and no decisive late-campaign shift yet evident, traders assign a slim edge to the “Over” outcome as the most likely result based on current voting-intention data.
