Morocco’s September 23, 2026, House of Representatives election remains highly competitive, with traders pricing PAM, RNI, and Istiqlal (PI) as the clearest contenders for the largest seat share amid dozens of participating parties. Low expected turnout near 28 percent and widespread public skepticism toward the incumbent government compress distinctions among the main groups, which draw from overlapping urban, regional, and middle-class voter bases. The ongoing RNI-PAM-Istiqlal governing coalition, formed after the 2021 results, continues to shape positioning by limiting sharp differentiation while smaller parties such as PPS, MP, and PJD register minimal implied probabilities. Recent Interior Ministry meetings with party leaders, candidate-list finalization, and modest polling leads for the coalition partners reinforce the tight market. Fresh surveys, economic indicators, or late policy announcements in the coming weeks could widen gaps by clarifying voter priorities ahead of election day.
