Strong high pressure building over the southern Plains is steering the market toward 100-101°F as the leading outcome for Dallas on September 13, with NWS and private model guidance converging on highs near 101–102°F under mostly sunny skies and south winds of 5–10 mph. Clear conditions and above-average dew points supporting heat indices above 105°F favor peak afternoon readings in this range, consistent with the ongoing late-summer pattern of triple-digit heat amid a prolonged dry spell. Minor model spread keeps 98-99°F and 102-103°F as secondary possibilities, while the low probability assigned to 104°F+ reflects limited upside potential without unexpected changes in steering flow or moisture. Updated National Weather Service briefings and next model runs will refine these implied probabilities ahead of the observation window.
