Warm, humid air masses and persistent cloud cover from scattered thunderstorms limited radiational cooling in Atlanta on September 11, 2026, keeping overnight lows in the low 70s rather than the seasonal average near 67°F. Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and station data at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport indicated minimums around 73°F amid elevated dew points near 71°F and light winds, consistent with late-summer patterns where Gulf moisture suppresses temperature drops. These conditions drove the market-implied odds strongly toward the 70-71°F bin at 86.5%, with secondary support for 65°F or below reflecting residual uncertainty in final verified observations. Upcoming NWS climatological summaries will confirm resolution criteria based on the official daily minimum.
