Latest National Weather Service forecasts for Houston on September 13 project a daytime high of 93–94°F under mostly sunny skies with a 30–40% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, driven by southerly flow and high humidity typical of late-summer Gulf moisture. This consensus from official models positions the 92–93°F and 94–95°F bins as the leading market-implied outcomes at 46.5% and 31.5%, respectively, reflecting trader assessment of limited cooling potential and heat-index values near 105°F. Historical September averages near 90°F provide context, but current steering patterns and absence of tropical influences support the elevated range. Updated model runs and evening observations ahead of resolution will refine probabilities as conditions evolve.
