Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models indicate a high near 78–81°F (26–27°C) for Los Angeles on September 18, supported by clear skies, light to moderate southwest winds, and limited marine layer intrusion under moderate high pressure. Trader sentiment clusters tightly around 74–79°F because small differences in onshore flow strength, exact clearing timing, or afternoon wind shifts can alter peak readings by a few degrees at official stations. These conditions align closely with the long-term September average high of about 76°F at Los Angeles International Airport, with recent El Niño-driven ocean warmth having less influence this late in the season. Updated NWS model runs and afternoon observations will refine the final maximum.
