Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate sunny conditions with light easterly winds and minimal cloud cover over Houston on September 18, supporting afternoon highs in the low to mid-90s. This aligns with the current warm pattern, where recent highs reached 95–97°F amid high pressure and southerly flow, though a brief storm chance on the 17th may allow slight cooling. Historical September averages near 89°F underscore the anomaly, but stable ridge conditions and no incoming fronts suggest limited deviation from the 92–95°F range. Updated NWS briefings and morning model runs on the 17th–18th will refine exact maxima ahead of market resolution.
