Forecast models from the National Weather Service and other agencies indicate a high near 84°F under partly sunny skies with a 20% chance of afternoon thunderstorms, while some guidance reaches the upper 80s amid southwesterly flow and limited cloud cover. Trader consensus in the 84–87°F bins reflects this narrow range between expected diurnal warming and potential convective cooling or increased moisture. Afternoon storm development, steered by modest easterly winds, introduces uncertainty around peak heating timing, consistent with September climatology where averages sit near 79°F but recent dry conditions have supported warmer outcomes. Updated model runs and real-time observations will refine resolution as the day progresses.
