Recent forecasts from multiple meteorological agencies indicate a high near 19–20°C for São Paulo on September 16, 2026, aligning with the market’s leading outcomes of 20°C (50.5%) and 21°C (26.5%). Persistent cloud cover, southeasterly winds of 10–20 km/h, and elevated humidity have limited daytime solar heating, keeping temperatures below the September climatological average of roughly 23°C. Model runs show modest afternoon warming to the low 20s under mostly overcast conditions, with minimal precipitation risk. Traders appear to weigh these atmospheric constraints against typical spring variability, where clearer skies or shifts in wind patterns could briefly push readings 1–2°C higher before resolution.
