Lula da Silva maintains a commanding lead in Pará for first place in the October 4 first round, backed by consistent regional polling that shows him far ahead of Flávio Bolsonaro and other contenders. The state’s Northern electorate has historically aligned with the Workers’ Party, reinforced by Lula’s incumbency, policy focus on social programs, and stronger approval ratings in the Northeast and North compared with Southern and Southeastern regions. National surveys place Lula in the high 30s to low 40s overall, yet Pará-specific data reflect even wider margins that underpin trader consensus. Late shifts in turnout, unexpected campaign developments, or major national events could still narrow the gap, though current evidence points to structural advantages for the incumbent in this electorate.
