Flávio Bolsonaro holds a commanding lead in trader consensus for first place in Rondônia's October 4 first-round vote, reflecting the state's conservative leanings and strong support for the Liberal Party (PL) candidate as heir to Jair Bolsonaro's regional base. Rondônia favored right-wing positions in prior cycles on issues such as public security, agribusiness interests, and federal oversight, bolstering Flávio's position after his July party nomination and August running-mate selection. National polling shows tighter races overall, yet local sentiment favors continuity of the Bolsonaro-aligned platform. Late developments like shifts in turnout among rural voters, economic messaging from rivals, or unexpected national events could narrow margins, though structural barriers remain significant for challengers.
